50 Cent Might Star in the New ‘Predator’ Film

So far everyone has done a pretty good job of keeping details about the new “Predator” film underwraps.  The most we’ve heard about the project so far is that Arnold Schwarzenegger had a meeting with director Shane Black.  What that meeting was about, though, remains to be seen.  However, we may have gotten our first casting confirmation and it’s one no one would have predicted.

AVPGalaxy got wind of several interviews rapper 50 Cent recently did with a couple of radio stations.  In both interviews he was asked about his upcoming projects.  In the first interview, conducted on March 27th on 99 Jamz, the rapper proudly revealed that he was working on some new projects and then dropped this nugget: “You heard of the movie Predator? I might be a part of that project this summer.”

And since then it doesn’t look like anyone told him not to spill the beans, because just a couple of days ago he repeated the same news.  On Shade 45 he told them “I’ll be doing some new feature films and stuff like that too. I’ll do Predator.”

So it looks like 50 Cent, also known as Curtis Jackson, might be heading into battle with a Predator.  Personally, I’m interested in seeing what sort of role he’ll play.  He has the right sort of presence to be in an action movie and he’s a decent actor from what I’ve seen, so this could be a potentially good role for him.  What do you think?  Let us know down below.
