Valentine Day
Do you all remember when Denise Richards was hot? Before Charlie Sheen turned her from pin-up to soccer mom and then dump her for a hotter younger version? Oh wait Denise Richards IS STILL hot and Sheen is an idiot for giving her up! One of her better films was Valentine.. sure it did not win any awards but its a fun take on Valentines day that of course.. ends badly.
Five comely and well-to-do female friends receive dire threats inside anonymous valentines. When two of them meet violent ends, the remaining trio suspect that the killer may be a former classmate whom they spurned years before at a school dance. Their solution: Throw a lavish Valentine’s Day party, all the better to distract them from the hulking, cherub-masked killer.
My Bloody Valentine
In this town on Valentine’s day… everyone loses their heart! Harry warden is back in town on Valentines Day and he is set to rip and tear his way through the local town folk. Easily one of the best horror films ever made My Bloody Valentine is the ultimate in bad news Valentine’s day action. There is nothing scarier then a miner with a pick axe asking ‘will you be mine’ as he stakes you through the heart.
Twenty years ago in the sleepy mining town of Valentine Bluffs, a fatal mining disaster occurred on Valentine’s Day while key members of the crew were decorating for a party. The sole survivor of the accident killed the absentee crew members and warned the town never to have another Valentine’s Day celebration. When a group of teenagers decides that the town has gone without a party long enough and begin planning one, a murderous maniac in mining gear begins dispatching townsfolk in bloody and creative ways.
My Bloody Valentine 3D
A remake of the original My Bloody Valentine and shot in 3D this film was actually quite a bit of fun despite it’s over the top gore and cheesy 3D effects. I saw this movie in 2D and will admit that it was a fun tale of mining, violence and love lost… or at least love cleaved off at the knee’s by a deranged miner!
My Boyfriends Back
This one is for those of you cheesy romantics who are not necessarily looking for terror. This one is admittedly about as scary as a pocket full of smurfs but nothing says romance like a boyfriend back from the dead!
Missy McCloud is the most beautiful girl in school and Johnny Dingle has been in love with her for years. One night, Johnny is killed trying to win her over, and soon he comes back from the dead, and wins Missy’s heart.
Lovers lane
On Valentine’s Day 13 years ago, two young lovers were brutally murdered at Lovers Lane by a crazed killer wielding a steel hook. The killer was caught, but the scars he left behind never healed. Now it’s Valentine’s Day again and the killer has escaped and is out to kill.
Nothing says valentines day love like a deranged killer with a hook looking to make a valentines banner out of your intestines!
The Loved Ones
Sometimes when a girl wants you to take her to the prom she wont ask nicely. In the case of The Loved Ones she gets her father to kidnap you and invite you to a special prom that involves Hammer’s, Power Tools, and a whole bunch of pain.
The Loved Ones is not only a great idea for Valentines Day it is also one of the best modern horror movies of the last 10 years. A true masterpiece sure to make your Valentine squirm.
