‘A Monster Calls’ in First Teaser Trailer & Photo
Have you guys read Patrick Ness’ novel A Monster Calls? I haven’t, so if you have, please share your opinions with us. In the meantime however, the novel has been adapted into a film of the same name and it has a freakin’ awesome cast attached. Below you will find your first look at the film via a teaser trailer and an official still, let us know if this is something you’ll be looking out for?
The film is directed by Juan Antonio Bayona (The Impossible, The Orphanage) and stars Lewis MacDougall, Felicity Jones, Toby Kebbell, Liam Neeson, and Sigourney Weaver.
Synopsis: A visually spectacular drama from acclaimed director Juan Antonio Bayona (The Impossible), based on the award-winning children’s fantasy novel. 12-year-old Conor (Lewis MacDougall) attempts to deal with his mother’s (Felicity Jones) illness and the bullying of his classmates by escaping into a fantastical world of monsters and fairy tales that explore courage, loss, and faith.
Look for A Monster Calls in theatres via Focus Features nationwide this October 14, 2016.
