A Tucker and Dale Sequel is Likely

Three years ago a pair of kindly rednecks touched our hearts and splattered blood everywhere with a movie called “Tucker and Dale Vs Evil.”  With the passage of time, it seemed like any hope of a sequel had dwindled away.  But now, in a surprise announcement, it seems like plans for a “Tucker and Dale Vs Evil 2″ are still in the works.

Last Friday, Horrorhound was hosting a special weekend event in Cincinnati which featured a “Tucker and Dale Vs Evil” panel with the film’s stars Alan Tudyk and Tyler Labine. Inevitably, the question of a sequel was brought up and Alan Tudyk haphazardly blurted out that a sequel was indeed in production.

Down below we’ve included a clip from the panel which features the revelation along with a story about how Tudyk inadvertently ran his mouth at SXSW.  Thankfully, he hasn’t learned his lesson.
