Adrienne Barbeau and More Have Signed on for ‘Jeepers Creepers 3’

As you might have heard this week it was announced that “Jeepers Creepers 3” was finally beginning production and shooting this week.  While a whole lot of details about the film are being kept underwraps, we now know who will be starring in it.

Cinema Runner has learned that a few veteran actors and quite a few new faces have signed on to star in the upcoming sequel “Jeepers Creepers 3.”  The most notable, for classic horror fans, is Adrienne Barbeau who starred in such horror greats as “Creepshow”, “The Fog” and the David Hasselhoff classic “Terror at London Bridge.” Adrienne is expected to play a character named Gaylen Brandon.  Also joining the cast is actor Stan Shaw who I instantly recognize as Detective Sapir from “Monster Squad.”

The site also reports that they will be joined by actors “Chester Rushing (“Stranger Things“), Ryan Moore (Pitchfork), Patrick Thomas Cragin (“How to Be a Vampire”), Brandon Smith (“From Dusk Till Dawn”), Gabrielle Haugh (Mother, May I Sleep With Danger?), and Justin Hall (Django Unchained)” in various roles.

Probably the most important name returning to the production, though, is Gina Philips who is set to reprise her role as Trish from the original film.  The originally synopsis that was going around a long time ago made mention that Trish would be defending her son from the infamous Creeper.  It’s possible that the new film could still be following some version of that plot.
