Alan Tudyk Joins Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
Alan Tudyk has apparently signed on to star in Timur Bekmambetov’s Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter according to the guys over at Variety. Alan Tudyk (pictured right) starred in Josh Whedon’s Firefly as “Hoban ‘Wash’ Washburne”.
Apparently he will play the role of Stephen A. Douglas, a vampire ally. He was a democrat known as the “little giant” due to his small size but a giant in politics. Alan Tudyk will join the previously announced Benjamin Walker and Robin McLeavy.
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter will be directed & produced by Timur Bekmambetov and Tim Burton will be acting as executive producer, 20th Century Fox are aiming for a June 22, 2012 release date, and the film is said to be shot in 3D.
