Amazon Studios Announces First Slate of Projects

With Amazon getting in on the filmmaking business, they have announced their first slate of projects which not only includes films, but also a few series as well.

So while all the projects may not be horror related, we do have two that could be of interest to you guys, read on below for a quick run-through.

First is The 100 Deaths of Mort Grimley which was created by Angel Castillo which is an animated film.

“Hell desperately needs new customers. And Mort Grimley, new to the Underworld after accidentally taking his own life, is offered a deal; get Hell’s numbers up and maybe get a transfer out (and up), or face eternity in fire and brimstone alongside the cruel mother he tried to escape.”

Next we have Doomsday which was created by Nathan Thomas. “This mockumentary follows an ensemble of diverse characters as they ready themselves for the supposed end of the world — including the guru who made the doomsday prediction.”
