‘American Horror Story’ Actor Ben Woolf Has Died
Sad news to begin the week with. “American Horror Story: Freakshow” actor Ben Woolf has passed away at the age of 34. The actor played the role of Meep in the series, a small fellow with a monstrous smile.
It would seem that his death might be the result of a tragic accident. According to Deadline Woolf was in Hollywood on Thursday last week when a passing car’s mirror struck him on the head. Woolf stood at about four feet tall, so it’s easy to see how the mirror could come in contact with him. The driver apparently stayed at the scene and no charges were filed at the time.
Today it was reported that Woolf had succumbed to his injuries and passed away. While not a major name in horror, Woolf had a growing presence having starred in such films as “Unlucky Charms”, “Haunting Charles Manson”, “Dead Kansas”, and most recently “American Horror Story.” Sadly, I’ve only seen his work on “AHS”, but he displayed great talent and I would’ve loved to have seen his career flourish.
Our hearts go out to his friends and family at this time.
