Bates Motel Teases New Season

Can’t wait to return to the Bates Motel?  Neither can I, but sadly we’ll have to wait till sometime next year for the suspiciously empty motel to re-open.  In the meantime, we can stay at this little bed and breakfast I found in a place called Amity Island.  *Cue ominous thunder crash.*

A&E’s “Bates Motel” is currently busy shooting it’s second season, but it might be sometime before we get a proper look at what’s in store for us in 2014.  However, in the interim, A&E has released a teaser poster for us to stare at and admire.  Check it out below, it’s a simple design, but it cleverly gets the point across.

“Bates Motel” will give viewers an intimate understanding of how Norman Bates’ psyche developed from his childhood through his teen years. Fans will have access to the dark, twisted backstory and learn firsthand how his mother, Norma, and her lover damaged Norman, helping forge the most well-known serial killing motel owner in history.

In the next season cast members Freddie Highmore and Vera Farmiga will be joined by Paloma Kwiatkowski, Michael Vartan, and Kathleen Robertson.  There are some big changes in store for Norma and Norman and if you can’t wait for next season, you can read about them right here.
