Just when you thought you had seen it all, along comes Bigfoot taking on a pack of werewolves, and damn, it just sounds too awesome to pass up. According to The Wrap, Outlier and new production partner Pathbender have acquired film and TV rights to the graphic novel Savage.
Created by Jeff Frank and co-written by Frank, Dan Wickline and Steve Niles (“30 Days of Night”), Savage is a supernatural thriller illustrated by award-winning X-Men artist Mike Mayhew.
James Cotten (“La linea”) has been attached to direct the film, “which follows a mysterious killer who is hunting down supernatural creatures. While looking for a prodigy to continue his work, he finds himself in the midst of a battle between the legendary Bigfoot and a pack of werewolves.”
While I haven’t read the original source material, just the idea of Bigfoot facing up against a pack of werewolves is enough to get stoked for this sucker. What say you?
