Blumhouse Vampire Flick ‘Family Blood’ Will Hit Netflix this Month
Netflix continues its reign of sudden movie releases with a new horror film from Blumhouse coming very soon.
Arrow in the Head is reporting that Blumhouse is set to release its new vampire film, “Family Blood,” by the end of the month. “Family Blood” is written and directed by Sonny Malhi who previously directed “Anguish” in 2015. The film stars James Ransone, Vinessa Shaw, and Colin Ford.
Ellie, a recovering drug addict, has just moved to a new city with her two teenage children. She has struggled to stay sober in the past and is determined to make it work this time, finding a stable job and regularly attending her meetings. Unfortunately, new friends, a new job, and the chance of a new life, can’t keep Ellie from slipping once again. Her life changes when she meets Christopher – a different kind of addict – which forces her daughter and son to accept a new version of Ellie.
Before “Family Blood” hits your local television set, it’ll be premiering here in Los Angeles on March 16th at the Arena Cinelounge in Hollywood. The film will then premiere on Netflix on March 31st.
