Bryan Fuller Dishes on Hannibal Season 2
If you haven’t seen the first season of NBC’s Hannibal, be warned that this post contains spoilers about what happened during the season finale.
Things had taken a turn for the worse for Will Graham. Not only did he discover that his trusted friend and therapist was a serial killer, but he wound up being accused of his crimes and placed in jail. It can’t get much worse than that, right?
While speaking at Comic Con, the show’s creator Bryan Fuller revealed that the next season will start with a two-part opener that’ll serve as a sort of introduction of the series for new viewers. It’ll also highlight how the characters have changed following the fallout of Will’s arrest. The third episode will be about a trial, presumably Will Graham’s trial.
According to Deadline, Fuller is thrilled about the dark direction of the new season.
“Will knows something no one else knows, and it’s a great place to put a character,” Fuller said. “One of the things I was most excited about in Season 2 was seeing Will Graham hit rock bottom.”
I guess it can get much worse. Sorry Will!
