Check Out the Necronomicon from ‘Ash vs Evil Dead’
The Necronomicon has finally appeared on the “Ash Vs Evil Dead” set and guess what? It looks like the Necronomicon! Surprise!
Still, it’s great to see all the “Evil Dead” elements coming together for a new project. I don’t know if “Ash vs Evil Dead” will be the “Evil Dead” entry that fans have been clamoring for, but it certainly seems like it has the potential to be that. You can check out the Necronomicon below being held by director Michael J. Bassett. Note the message “Prep is over, it is time to open… the Necronomicon.” Looks like filming is about to begin in earnest.
“Ash Vs Evil Dead” sees the return of Bruce Campbell as the smarmy Ash Williams who must once again do battle with the forces of evil.
When a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, Ash is finally forced to face his demons –personal and literal. Destiny, it turns out, has no plans to release the unlikely hero from its “Evil” grip.
The 10-episode series will also star Lucy Lawless, Jill Marie, Ray Santiago, and Dana Delorenzo. No word on when the series is expected to premiere though it’s been speculated we could see it before the end of the year.
