Clarice Faces Off Against Hannibal in New TV Show

Genre TV is absolutely booming at the moment, there are an abundant number of genre themed TV shows in the works and here we have yet another to add to the ever growing slate.

A new TV show is on the horizon which is based upon the character of Clarice Starling from The Silence of the Lambs. This one is not connected to NBC’s upcoming show Hannibal which focuses on the relationship between Hannibal and FBI criminal profiler Will Graham (played by Hugh Dancy).

“Clarice would follow the exploits of a young Clarice Starling soon after she graduates from the FBI academy,” according to TV Guide.

MGM will be producing the upcoming drama, there is currently no word on any casting at this time as this is still in the very early stages.
