Concept Art for the Possible Hellraiser Reboot

I am such a huge fan of Clive Barker’s Hellraiser, as I’m sure many of you’re too. As you know there have been many rumblings regarding a reboot of Hellraiser throughout the years. Last we heard was that Martyrs director Pascal Laugier was involved, but who knows what Dimension are doing now.

While we still wait for any sort of confirmation regarding the Hellraiser reboot, the guys over at Geek Tyrant have scored some very cool concept art for a possible reboot of Hellraiser.

The art that you see below is created by Paul Gerrard (Wrath of the Titans and Battle LA) with a teaser trailer (expected to hit in the near future) directed by Mike Le Han (Mrs. Peppercorn’s Magical Reading Room).

So in short, this is there pitch to Dimension films for the potential Hellraiser remake. Looking at the concept art, do you think these guys have the right vision in mind? I definitely think so.

While I’m one to hate on a reboot or remake, especially when its something that I hold very close to my heart, I have to stop and think. Is a reboot really all that bad? I mean, its either this or yet more lackluster Hellraiser sequels.
