Directors Join “Fear Paris” Anthology
I don’t know if anthologies are as popular as they once were, but they do seem to be enjoying a resurgence. Earlier last year it was announced that producer Steven Schneider (“Paranormal Activity” and “Insidious”) was putting together a horror anthology set in the city of Paris. Today, in the lead up to the Berlin International Film Festival, we’ve learned who the directors will be.
According to Deadline Joe Dante (“Gremlins”), Xavier Gens (“The ABCs of Death”), and Timo Vuorensola (“Iron Sky”) have signed up to join the anthology. The film will weave together intersecting stories that span the genres of horror, science fiction, and fantasy.
Deadline notes that two more directors will be announced soon, but on IMDB they currently list Christopher Smith (“Black Death”), Christian Alvart (“Pandorum”), and Jorn Heitmann as also being attached to the projects as directors.
If you haven’t seen the concept trailer that was made for “Fear Paris” last year, you should check it out below. It’s a unique take on the dastardly mime.
