DONTNOD to Work on Vampire RPG
French game developer DONTNOD has sunk it’s collective teeth into a new project. Publisher Focus Interactive has announced that the developer will be working on a new vampire-themed action RPG game titled “Vampyr.”
The game will be set in the aftermath of the first World War and will center on a doctor who learns that he has been turned into a vampire. Obviously, as a doctor, this produces an interesting moral conundrum as he must hurt people in order to stay alive. In fact, a core component of the game will be balancing these moral choices as you decide whether or not to save patients or feed on them for your own need.
The game is still in the early stages of development, so don’t expect it to be released anytime soon. For now you can check out the concept poster below that was revealed on Focus Interactive’s twitter.
