Edgar Allen Poe’s The Raven Release Date

The Raven which stars John Cusack is currently in post-production and with that Relativity Media has chosen a release date. According to the guys over at DreadCentral, The Raven will hits theatres on March 9, 2012.

Also Relativity Media has apparently announced that the title has been changed to James McTeigue’s Edgar Allan Poe project. This will stick for the time being so it’s uncertain if the film will even have the title The Raven.

The Raven features Poe who teams up with a detective to search for a serial killer who has kidnapped Poe’s fiance and gone on a killing spree which mimics Poe’s work.

The Raven is directed by James McTeigue and written by Ben Livingston & Hannah Shakespeare, the film co-stars Luke Evans and Alice Eve
