Experience the Fallout This October As Chernobyl Diaries Hits Blu-ray & DVD
I still haven’t witnessed Chernobyl Diaries yet, and despite a lot of the negative I am still looking forward to check it out. Will I be disappointed? Probably, but if you never had the chance to catch the flick in theatres or just wish to add it to your collection, the guys over at Warner Home Video will be unleashing the flick on DVD & Blu-ray this October 16th.
According to DVD Active, the upcoming DVD release of the film will only feature one special feature which consists of a Chernobyl Conspiracy Viral Video.
But if you go all out and acquire the Blu-ray/DVD combo, that set consists of Uri’s Extreme Tours Infomercial, an additional scene, and an UltraViolet digital copy of the film.
Synopsis: “Chernobyl Diaries” is an original story from Oren Peli, who first terrified audiences with his groundbreaking thriller, “Paranormal Activity.” The film follows a group of six young tourists who, looking to go off the beaten path, hire an “extreme tour” guide. Ignoring warnings, he takes them into the city of Pripyat, the former home to the workers of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor, but a deserted town since the disaster more than 25 years ago. After a brief exploration of the abandoned city, however, the group soon finds themselves stranded, only to discover that they are not alone…”
The film stars Jonathan Sadowski, Devin Kelley, Jesse McCartney, Olivia Taylor Dudley, Nathan Phillips, Ingrid Bolso Berdal and Dimitri Diatchenko.
