I don’t know about you guys, but I absolutely loved Greg Mclean’s Wolf Creek, but I also know a few that hate it, but to each their own. So what about that sequel, eh? Well, we have just scored our first look at the sequel courtesy of The Age via B-D. Head on down below and check it out.

Also, the director of the sequel Greg Mclean, recently spoke with The Age and chimed in with regards to the sequel.

McLean states that he did not want to rush into a “cheesy sequel,” but he also didn’t expect the gap between the two to be so large.

If I’d known then what I know now about how long it would take to get this up, I’d probably have said yes to a sequel earlier.

I’m not really interested in gore and blood and stuff. I’m interested in why the character connected with Australian audiences. It’s not about being a horror film – it’s because Mick is about something else, something deep and dark in the Australian psyche.

So what do you guys think? Excited for a sequel, or is this something that simply does not interest you?
