First Details and Trailer for Bill Oberst Jr’s The Chair
Let it be known that Bill Oberst Jr., is one heck of a creepy character, but at the same time possibly the most nicest guy you could ever talk too. As a horror fan, I’m forever grateful for his contributions to the genre, and his latest flick, The Chair, has awesome written all over it.
From Chad Ferrin, comes The Chair, an adaptation of Alterna Comics’ graphic novel of the same name which was written by Peter Simeti. And today we have scored all the details you need including a little teaser trailer to give you a taste of the nightmares that are forthcoming.
The film is also set to star Eric Roberts, Noah Hathaway, Brian Thompson, Derrick Damions, Naomi Grossman, Zach Galligan, Susan Eisenberg, Ezra Buzzington, Jacob Banser, Timothy Muskatell, and Kyle Hester.
Synopsis: THE CHAIR follows the story of Richard Sullivan, an innocent man struggling to escape execution on death row. Witnessing the torture and murder of his fellow inmates at the hand of the prison’s sadistic and psychotic Warden, Sullivan decides that the only way to survive is to fight back. But as he matches the savagery and brutality occurring in the prison, Sullivan is forced to come face to face with his own sanity.
You guys know how I feel about this one, I’m freakin’ pumped. But how about you? Let us know if you’re excited to see The Chair adapted for the screen?
