First Details for Ryuhei Kitamura’s Dead Water
As many of you know, the American Film Market is on the horizon, and with that, a slew of films will be crawling out of the woodwork to go on sale at the upcoming event. With that, we can reveal that Ryuhei Kitamura is once again unleashing an English-language flick, and this one is entitled Dead Water.
At this time it is unknown as to who will star in this one, but we have scored an early synopsis and some very small art which you can see to the right.
The film is expected to have a budget of $3M-5M.
Synopsis: Led by our heroine a few scientists are sealed inside an Eco Station -a self-sufficient environment deep in the desert.
The survivors in the Station know the deadly truth. They know that when the end finally came, it wasn’t what anyone expected.
It wasn’t a virus that killed the planet. It wasn’t a curse from Hell.
It was the water…
A chemical process, triggered somewhere in the world, got out of control and changed the molecular composition of H2O as we know it.
Suddenly drinking it, bathing in it, even touching water would change a human into…
