First Info For Norwegian Horror Dunderland

Here we have an upcoming horror flick from our friends over in Norway, now, Norway have suddenly had a influx of genre flicks being released and they have hit the mark like the excellent Troll Hunter. Lets hope that ball keeps on rolling.

Here we have, Dunderland from directors Finn-Erik Rognan and Nils J. Nesse which is said to be based upon true events that explore the dark history of the Dunderland valley’s that involved witchcraft.

The film stars Miriam Prestøy Lie, Reidar Sørensen, Hanne-Marte Sørlie, Sven Henriksen, Marit Østbye and Brage Bang

Synopsis: “1695. A young maiden by the name Johanne Nilsdotter is accused of witchcraft. Her persecutors end her life in the bottomless pits of the Djupkista waters in the Dunderland valley. 

In the years to follow, numerous horrendous events and tragedies strike the valley. 

2011. The young, aspiring theatre director Laura arrives in the Dunderland valley. Together with an ensamble of Norways premier actors she will put up a play at an old, retired boy scout camp.

They are soon made aware of the Dunderland valleys dark history.
Then the star actor dissappears.”
