First Look at Kevin Bacon from Syfy’s Canceled ‘Tremors’ Series
Sorry to remind you guys that the Tremors TV series isn’t moving forward, and I’m even more sorry to show you these photos of Kevin Bacon as Valentine McKee, in what looks to have been a fun series. But alas, Syfy made the decision to cancel the series but, who knows, maybe another network will come to the rescue.
As reported earlier, Kevin Bacon broke the unfortunate news earlier in the week;
Sad to report that my dream of revisiting the world of Perfection will not become a reality. Although we made a fantastic pilot (IMHO) the network has decided not to move forward. Thanks to our killer cast and everyone behind the scenes who worked so hard. And always keep one eye out for GRABOIDS!
So, Andrew Miller, the writer of the pilot episode of Tremors, recently took to Twitter to share a few photos from the filmed pilot and we have them for you below.
The pilot was directed by Vincenzo Natali (Splice).
Synopsis: In the series, the killer Graboid worms that nearly destroyed Perfection, Nevada, are back, and the town’s only hope for survival is Valentine McKee (Bacon) who beat them once. But to do it again he’ll have to overcome age, alcohol and a delusional hero complex.
Many are saying that the show MUST be bad if Syfy decided to not go any further with it but, I can’t help but think they had something quite awesome on their hands. Much like Amazon when they canceled Jean- Claude Van Johnson.
