First Official Trailer for ‘Midsommar’ Presents the Next Film from the Director of ‘Hereditary’

By now you might be tired of hearing about last year’s horror darling “Hereditary.”  Or you might be on the other side of the fence who just can’t stop talking about it.  Either way, this post might be for you cause it’s a new thing for the horror community to get all excited about.

A24 has released the trailer for writer/director Ari Aster’s newest horror flick called “Midsommar.”  The trailer, which you can watch below, has a strong “Wickerman” vibe to it.  It’s also incredibly vibrant, which is definitely a welcomed visual choice for a horror film.

The plot appears to be centering around a festival that only comes around once every 90 years and the oblivious young adults who go to check it out.

“Midsommar” is expected to hit theaters this summer.
