First Trailer and Premiere Date for Salem
With “American Horror Story: Coven” set to end next week, I’m gonna need another dosage of witch activity to keep my hocus pocus levels in balance. I can only watch “Practical Magic” so many times! Thankfully, WGN’s “Salem” is just around the corner and we now have a premiere date and trailer to share with you.
SALEM explores what really fueled the town’s infamous witch trials and dares to uncover the dark, supernatural truth hiding behind the veil of this infamous period in American history. In SALEM, witches are real, but they are not who or what they seem. The show, which centers on an epic romance wrapped around this explosive revelation, delivers a bold new vision of Salem — and an even bolder new vision of witches.
“Salem” will premiere on WGN on Sunday April 20th. The cast of this new series includes Janet Montgomery, Seth Gabel, Shane West, Ashley Madekwe, Xander Berkeley, Tamzin Merchant, and Elise Eberle. “Salem” was created by Brannon Braga and Adam Simon. Simon previously worked on “The Haunting in Connecticut” and “Brain Dead”.
