First Trailer for ‘The Lazarus Effect’

Earlier this week we got our first look at David Gelb’s upcoming film “The Lazarus Effect” and now we’re getting to see it in trailer form.  Unfortunately, this is the kind of trailer that spoils a pretty significant character death.  I’m also not talking about Olivia Wilde, her character death is pretty integral to the plot after all.

The film centers on a group of of research students studying the brain and how it functions.  A mishap causes one of the students to die, but using what they’ve learned about the brain, they’re able to bring them back to life.  Unfortunately, their fellow researcher is no longer the person they once knew and now they must keep them from escaping the lab and wrecking havoc on the world.

If you want to watch the trailer while avoiding the blatant spoiler you can watch it up until about 1:52.  A second after that is spoiler country.  “The Lazarus Effect” hits theaters on February 27th.
