Fox Announces the Premiere Date for ‘The X-Files’
Here we go again. I’m starting to get my hopes up just like I did for the last season of “The X-Files” before Chris Carter expertly dashed them by the end of the limited run. Maybe this time will be different? Please?
And while we wait to see what the final verdict will be for the new season, we can at least finally know when to expect it. Fox has finally revealed today that the next season of “The X-Files” will premiere on Wednesday, January 3rd and will air at 8pm.
The new season sees the return of series regulars like David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, Mitch Pileggi, and William B. Davis. As for special guest stars so far we only know that Robbie Amell and Lauren Ambrose will return to play Agents Miller and Einstein. We also know that Karin Konoval, who played Ms. Peacock in the infamous “Home” episode, will be returning. Don’t get too excited, she won’t be playing the same character. And then there’s the recent announcement that Haley Joel Osment will join the cast, but no word on who he’ll be playing.
