Fox Releases First Trailer for ‘The Exorcist’ Series

If you’ve noticed that over the last couple of weeks there have been an increased amount of articles about cancellations, renewals, and premiere dates for television shows, don’t panic. You’re just in the middle of upfronts.  This is when all the big networks come out and start announcing their lineups for the new seasons and when we also get our first look at highly anticipated projects.  Projects like the upcoming TV series based on the classic film “The Exorcist.”

Last week we got our first look at “The Exorcist” with this still image, but today Fox has upped the stakes with an actual trailer.  In “The Exorcist” two priests from extremely different backgrounds come together to help a family deal with the strange supernatural events surrounding them.  Alfonso Herrera (“Sense 8”) and Ben Daniels (“House of Cards”) have been tapped to play Father Tomas Ortega and Father Marcus Lang respectively. The show also stars Geena Davis, Hannah Kasulka, and Brianne Howey.  Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think.
