Guillermo Del Toro Tackles Creature Feature ‘Pacific Rim’

From our buddies at Deadline, Guillermo del Toro has enlisted actor Charlie Hunnam to star in Pacific Rim. Hunnam is best known for his role of Jax on Sons of Anarchy, a fantastic show.

The casting announcement is proof that Del Toro is moving fast on the project after Universal canned his adaptation of At the Mountains of Madness.

Written by Travis Beacham, Pacific Rim finds Del Toro tackling a different sort of creature feature. This one concerns giant monsters attacking Earth and how we must use a hi-tech arsenal to eradicate them.

Nothing Del Toro has done has ever disappointed me and I am certain, this will follow.
