Hannibal Renewed for Third Season
Maybe it was just my wishful thinking, but a third season of NBC’s “Hannibal” almost seemed like a certainty. However, until the network officially confirms it, you never want to get your hopes too high up.
Thankfully, “Hannibal” fans can now breath a collective sigh of relief as NBC has officially come out and announced that Bryan Fuller’s “Hannibal” will be getting a third season. Though the show hasn’t been smashing viewership records, Deadline points out that the show utilizes some interesting financial tricks to stay afloat. Thanks to a unique licensing fee, the producers are able to make “Hannibal” for $500,000. Along with that, “Hannibal” has some VOD deals in the works that’ll continue to make it a more financially sound show.
“Hannibal” follows the dangerous relationship between FBI investigator Will Graham and infamous psychologist Dr. Hannibal Lecter. If you aren’t watching, I definitely recommend you check out. You can currently see the first season of “Hannibal” for free if you have Amazon Prime.
