Here’s a Shocker – ‘Amityville: The Awakening’ Has Been Pushed Back Again!
I really feel for Franck Khalfoun and the cast and crew of Amityville: The Awakening. It’s one thing to have your film butchered and cut from a R to a PG-13 movie, but what’s worse is having the release date of the film being changed numerous times, I mean this sucker was meant to come out in September of 2014! Since then we have seen a slew of release dates and not one has come to pass, but heck, why change a habit of a lifetime? Deadline reports that the film has been pushed back yet again from its June 30th release to a “Date to be determined”.
So, where you one of the few that was looking forward to the film? If so, surely this is enough to put you over the edge and say enough is enough. Let us know what you thin of this entire shambles.
The film stars Bella Thorne, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Cameron Monaghan, Thomas Mann, Taylor Spreitler, Mckenna Grace, and Kurtwood Smith. Franck Khalfoun (Maniac) directed the film, which has been cut from an R rating down to PG-13.
Synopsis: Belle, her little sister, and her comatose twin brother move into a new house with their single mother Joan in order to save money to help pay for her brother’s expensive healthcare. But when strange phenomena begin to occur in the house including the miraculous recovery of her brother, Belle begins to suspect her Mother isn’t telling her everything and soon realizes they just moved into the infamous Amityville house.
