Iron Sky Scores Distribution In The U.S.

According to Screen Daily, Entertainment One will distribute Timo Vuorensola Iron Sky in North America and Stealth Media Group is handling the World Sales while Shoval will distribute the film in Israel.
The trailer for the film was only posted on YouTube nearly a week ago today and it has already had five million views in six days, beating many Hollywood blockbuster, Timo Vuorensola said;
“It feels great to beat these films that have already spent more on marketing that the entire budget of Iron Sky. I see it as a sign of democratisation of entertainment, where the internet means a Finnish film can capture the interest of the viewing public. This is a victory to all European and independent filmmakers, and it’s all thanks to our active online community”
Hopefully we will have a confirmed theatre date for Iron Sky in the U.S. soon, in the meantime check out the awesome trailer once more below.
Iron Sky is directed by Timo Vuorensola which stars Julia Dietze, Götz Otto, Chris Kirby and Udo Kier.
Synopsis: “In 1945 the Nazis fled to the moon.
In 2018 they are coming back.
Iron Sky is a black science fiction comedy coming out on 4th of April 2012. We wrapped principal photography in February 2011 at the Village Roadshow studios in Australia. Currently we’re diving deep into visual effects and post production.”
