Ivana Baquero Cast in Carrie Remake – Two More in Talks

Kimberly Peirce’s upcoming remake of Carrie is going full steam ahead, the film is casting up very quickly and the talent involved is nothing short of outstanding. So today we bring word of even more joining the fold.

According to B-D, Ivana Baquero (pictured right) has been cast as the bad girl Chris in the remake. The site also reports that ”Gabriella Wilde has been officially tapped to play “Sue”, while Judy Greer (The Village, Cursed) in talks to play the “Gym Teacher”.

They will star alongside the previously announced cast of Chloe Moretz, Julianne Moore, Alex Russell and Ansel Elgort.

The film follows a “hyperkinetic teenager who gets pushed too far at the prom and wreaks havoc on her fellow high school students.”

Carrie hits theatres on March 15, 2013.
