Jack Huston is Officially Set to Play the Crow
The road to the “Crow” remake has been filled with it’s share of ups and downs, but it looks like the production may have found it’s footing again as a new name has been attached to the titular role.
According to Deadline, Jack Huston is officially set to play the role of the Crow in the upcoming remake. Huston recently gained a lot of acclaim for his role in “Boardwalk Empire” where he played the disfigured hitman Richard Harrow. Corin Hardy is still attached to direct the project.
Originally the Crow was to be played by Luke Evans, but he dropped out of the project due to either the project taking too long or possibly because his value had gone up since he was originally signed to the project. Then it was heavily suggested that Sam Witwer could take on the role, but that never panned out. Here’s hoping that Huston is the last name to enter this game of musical chairs.
Production on the film is expected to start later this year after Huston finishes filming the “Ben Hur” remake with director Timur Bekmambetov. Apparently, this isn’t a man afraid of stepping into iconic roles.
