Jacob Tremblay Joins the Cast of “Predator”
Shane Black’s upcoming “Predator” film seems to be growing by the day as the project gets ready to start production this February. Yesterday we learned that actor Thomas Jane was in talks to join the production, but now it looks like someone on the opposite end of the age spectrum may be joining as well.
The Hollywood Reporter has learned that actor Jacob Tremblay, who had a breakout performance in “The Room”, has signed on for Shane Black’s “Predator.” According to the site Tremblay will play the son of Boyd Holbrook’s character. THR is also reporting that Holbrook will play “an ex-Marine who discovers the existence of fierce aliens but finds that no one believes they exist.”
So far the rest of cast includes Olivia Munn, Keegan-Michael Key, Sterling K. Brown, and Trevante Rhodes. With Thomas Jane in negotiations I’m wiling to bet we haven’t heard the last of the casting news. So stay tuned.
