Jake Busey will Play the Son of Gary Busey’s Character from ‘Predator 2’ in the New ‘Predator’

I probably could not have written a more confusing headline if I tried.

But really it’s all very simple.  Remember how Gary Busey played FBI Agent Peter in “Predator 2”?  Remember how that dude got cut in half? Well, before he got cut in half he had a kid.  And now it looks like his real life kid is going to play his fictional kid in the upcoming film “The Predator.”

Jake Busey revealed the details in this interview with the Red Booth.  During the interview he reveals that Shane Black asked him to come back to play the son of his father’s character from the second film.  A move that Jake describes as literally following in his father’s footsteps.  Jake doesn’t go into too much detail about the character, but describes him as a scientist.  I guess when your dad gets murdered by a space hunter your two options are probably either a life of therapy or science to help sort all of that out.
