James Ransone and Andy Bean Join ‘IT’ as Eddie and Stanley
It’s been a minute since we last got an update on the upcoming sequel to last years horror hit “It.” Last we heard Jessica Chastain, Bill Hader, and James McAvoy had all signed on to play the grown up versions of Bev, Richie, and Bill respectively. However, there are still a few Loser Club members left to cast and today’s news reveals two more addition.
According to Variety Andy Bean (“Here and Now”) has been cast to play adult Stanley in “IT: Chapter 2.” Along with Variety’s official confirmation, actor James Ransone (“Sinister”) let it slip on Twitter that he would be playing adult Eddie. Ransone has since deleted the Tweet.
With five members of the Losers Club revealed we’re still waiting to see who will be playing adult versions of Ben and Mike. Ben will likely be a big surprise as he transforms from chubby nerd to handsome adult and Idris Elba has joked about joining Jessica Chastain for “IT,” but I can’t really see him coming to another Stephen King adaptation so soon.
What do you think? Who would you like to see fill out the final two roles? Let us know below.
