Jeffrey Dean Morgan Joins Monster Film ‘Rampage’
While Negan has his hands full with things going on in “The Walking Dead” universe, actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan is taking on a different sort of problem.
Deadline is reporting today that “The Walking Dead” actor will be joining Dwayne Johnson in the upcoming giant monster-flick “Rampage.” As you might recall from your gaming youth, “Rampage” was the story of three monsters beating the hell out of buildings and eating soldiers. New Line will be taking this rich tale and turning into a big budget film
According to Deadline “Morgan will play Agent Russell, who works for a covert government division called OGA and rolls with serious swagger and attitude.” So it looks like someone watched “Walking Dead” this year and said “Get that man in my movie and have him play a similar character!” And you know what? I’m totally fine with that. Morgan can certainly pull off “swagger” and “attitude” with ease.
Along with Dwayne Johnson Morgan will be joining Joe Manganiello, Naomie Harris, Marley Shelton, PJ Byrne, and Jake Lacy. The film will be directed by Brad Peyton who previously worked on “San Andreas” with Dwayne Johnson. “Rampage” will hit theaters on April 20, 2018.
