Jim Carrey Explores ‘Dark Crimes’ in the Official Poster & Trailer
I’m a little late to the party here, but better late than never, right? So, it appears as if Jim Carrey is back and this time he is returning to a more serious role in Alexandros Avranas’ Dark Crimes, which is based upon the 2008 article “True Crimes – A postmodern murder mystery” by David Grann, and below we have he details, poster and trailer for you to experience some dark times in Dark Crimes.
The film will be shown exclusively on DirecTV this Thursday, April 19th and then followed by a release in select theatres and VOD platforms this May 18th.
Dark Crimes is penned by Jeremy Brock and also stars Marton Csokas and Charlotte Gainsbourg.
Synopsis: A police officer named Tadek finds similarities between an unsolved murder and a crime outlined in a book by famed writer Krystov Kozlow. As Tadek begins to track Kozlow and his girlfriend, a mysterious sex club worker, his obsession grows and he descends into an underworld of sex, lies, and corruption to find the shocking truth.
