Ken Marino Contracts a Case of ‘Goosebumps’
With Columbia Pictures’ big screen adaptation of R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps officially on the way, we have just received some rather awesome casting news in the form of Bad Milo’s Ken Marino (pictured right).
According to Deadline, Ken Marino has joined the cast of Goosebumps, which will see him play “Coach Carr, the blowhard coach at Greendale High who wades into battle when monsters overrun the school.”
Marino joins the previously announced cast of Jack Black, Amy Ryan, and Dylan Minnette. Rob Letterman is directing the adaptation.
[The] story is loosely based on the series and follows Minnette’s character who moves from New York City to the small town of Greendale, Maryland, where his secretive new neighbor turns out to be veteran young adult horror author R.L. Stine (Black). When all the many demons of Stine’s mind are set free by Slappy, a demonic ventriloquist’s dummy, it’s up to Minnette’s character and Stine’s niece Hannah to put all the evil genies back in the bottle.
Look for this one in theatres this March 23, 2016.
