Leatherface 3D Finds a Director and Writer

It looks as if the proposed sequel to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre reboot is finally taking shape and moving forward. According to the guys over at Bloody-Disgusting John Luessenhop (Takers) has climbed aboard to direct Leatherface 3D.

He will be working alongside Kirsten Elms (Gold Circle) who is said to re-tool the script, the story was reported that it would take place directly after the events of Tobe Hooper’s original and then jump forward 35 years later.

So your guess is as good as mine, we will just have to wait and see how this pans out. In all fairness I love the idea of another Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie just minus the 3D gimmick.
