Liam Neeson to Play the Head of the London MIB in new ‘Men in Black’ Movie

It’s been a hot minute since we last heard about the “Men in Black” sequel currently in the pipeline.  Last we heard was that Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson had on to star in the new film and now we’ve learned of a pretty cool casting.

According to THR, acting great Liam Neeson has signed on to star in the next “Men in Black” film.  We don’t know a whole lot about the movie yet, but we do know that the movie will be set in the same universe as the previous films and that Hemsworth and Thompson will be playing new characters and not Agent J and K (aka Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones).

In fact, the biggest revelation about this film that we’ve had comes with Liam Neeson’s casting.  According to THR Neeson will be playing the head of the Men in Black London division.  Original casting calls were looking for a grizzled veteran to join the younger agents, so it’s hard to say how big of a role Neeson will have in the film.
