‘Lost Boys’ Actor Brooke McCarter Has Passed Away

Actor Brooke McCarter didn’t have a lot film credits to his name, but fans of the 1987 horror classic “The Lost Boys” would recognize him as one of the vampire bad boys, Paul.  Sadly,  Mr. McCarter has passed away today.

His family shared the news on his Facebook page where they revealed that he passed away today at the age of 52 due to a genetic liver condition.

McCarter made frequent appearances at horror conventions where he embraced his place in cinema history and talked shop about his work on “Lost Boys” and “The Twilight Zone.”  McCarter was also a musician, director, and producer.  But more than that, he was a father and a son.  We send our thoughts out to his friends and family today.
