Neil Casey Will Be the Bad Guy in ‘Ghostbusters’

As the “Ghostbusters” new continues to stream out, we’ve finally learned who will play the films antagonist.  According to Deadline Neil Casey will be the baddie in the upcoming film.  But will he be the spiritual baddie? Or a douchebag human looking to spoil the Ghostbusters’ fun?

According to the site, Casey’s role is being kept under wraps for now, but they do know for certain that he will a bad guy in the film.  In previous “Ghostbusters” there have been two baddies.  In the first one there was the supernatural Zuul and then there was Walter Peck who was tragically born without a penis.  In part two we had the double threat of the all powerful Vigo and the Mayor’s assistant Jack Hardemeyer.  Neil Casey doesn’t strike me as the all-powerful being type, so I’m going to guess he’s playing a human villain.

Neil Casey is known for his work on SNL and has starred in such programs as “Veep” and “The League.”

“Ghostbusters” will hit theaters on July 22, 2016.
