Neil Marshall Directing Constantine Pilot

A little while ago Jason told you all that NBC was working on a Constantine TV show and now comes word from Deadline that Neil Marshall one of the most talented horror directors will helm it.

Neil Marshall has directed some of my favorite films including The Descent, Doomsday and of course the incredible Dog Soldiers. He has also taken a turn at directing Game of Thrones and the new series Black Sails.

Development of a script will begin shortly with David Goyer (“The Dark Knight”) and Daniel Cerone (“Dexter”) set to handle the writing duties.  The series is based around the character of John Constantine who is a con-man turned occult detective.  Constantine was based in London, but there’s no word on whether or not the TV series will follow suit.
