New Official Poster for ‘Found Footage 3D’
Steven DeGennaro’s latest flick Found Footage 3D is continuing its run on the festival circuit as we speak, so chance are some of you may have caught a glimpse of this one already? If not, we have word that the film is heading to the Popcorn Frights Film Festival at the Savor Cinema Fort Lauderdale this November 4th.
So, with that, a new retro poster has been unveiled from Jason Sheppard and Matt Durston of TrueHorror.net, and you guys can check out the goods below. Let us know what you make of it?
The film is written by Steven DeGennaro and it’s produced by Steven DeGennaro, Charles Mulford, and Kim Henkel, the co-writer of the original Texas Chain Saw Massacre.
Carter Roy, Alena von Stroheim, Chris O’Brien, Tom Saporito, Scott Allen Perry, Jessica Perrin, and Scott Weinberg star in the film.
Synopsis: Found Footage 3D tells the story of a group of filmmakers who set out to make “the first 3D found-footage horror film”, but find themselves in a found-footage horror film when the evil entity from their movie escapes into their behind-the-scenes footage.
In the same way that Scream deconstructed the slasher sub-genre back in the 90’s, FF3D takes a found-footage horror movie and populates it with people who are aware of all of the rules, tricks, and clichés of the genre. At times clever and funny, at times poignant, at times terrifying, the film creates a rich world filled with memorable characters fighting for their lives against ultimate evil.
As the first found footage movie shot natively in 3D, FF3D pushes the boundaries of the medium and creates something truly unique. It does things that no found footage movie or 3D movie has ever been able to do before.
