New Poster & Premiere Announced for Daniel Armstrong’s ‘Sheborg Massacre’
In October of last year we ushered in the first official teaser trailer for Daniel Armstrong’s latest flick Sheborg Massacre, and we loved it (see below), it’s a non-stop thrill ride full of badass chicks, what more could you want? Anyway, jump forward a few months later and we can reveal that the film is scheduled to make its premiere in Melbourne, Australia, July 4th, and we have the brand new poster art which is created by Tom Hodge of The Dude Designs, and it’s pretty sweet.
From the Press Release:
Melbourne, Australia, May 13th, 2016. Strongman Pictures Entertainment today announced that tickets are on sale for the INTERGALACTIC PREMIERE SCREENING of SHEBORG MASSACRE in Melbourne, Australia, July 4th! Tickets available now.
Self styled tough-girl and punk activist Dylan loves fighting for a cause… literally any cause will do (much to the chagrin of her BFF Eddie). When an alien fugitive crash lands into a local puppy farm and begins turning people into machines that feed on puppy flesh, Dylan has to decide if she believes in any cause enough to risk her life, take on the SheBorg menace, and save the world.
SHEBORG MASSACRE is the third do-it-yourself feature film to come from writer/director/editor Daniel Armstrong’s Strongman Pictures Entertainment. It follows in the footsteps of the international cult hits MURDERDROME and FROM PARTS UNKNOWN: FIGHT LIKE A GIRL.
The shoot consumed 32 days, spread part time over 4 months, and demanded a huge commitment in time and energy from the all volunteer cast and crew. SHEBORG MASSACRE’S INTERGALACTIC PREMIERE crash lands to Earth on July 4th, exactly one year from the first day of shooting.
SHEBORG MASSACRE stars Whitney Duff (LOYALTY, MIRROR OF FILTH), Daisy Masterman (MURDERDROME, BLOODLINES, GWEN STEFANI’S KUU-KUU HARAJUKU), and Emma-Louise Wilson (FROM PARTS UNKNOWN: FIGHT LIKE A GIRL, UTOPIA), in leading roles. The cast rounds out with supporting roles by local rock legend Mark E (of The Mercy Kills), wrestling superstar Tommy Hellfire (Melbourne City Wrestling), and Louise Monnington, who played audience favorite Psych in MURDERDROME.
SHEBORG MASSACRE features an original score by hugely popular, and musically unique, metal rap artist Kidcrusher. Kidcrusher also scored Strongman Pictures last feature epic FROM PARTS UNKNOWN: FIGHT LIKE A GIRL.
In conjunction with the announcement of the film’s premiere Strongman Pictures have also unveiled, for the first time, the official SHEBORG MASSACRE poster by Tom Hodge, The Dude Designs. The artwork has a retro sensibility, drawing on the style of B movie science fiction VHS box shots from the 80s (artwork attached).
THE SHEBORG MASSACRE INTERGALACTIC PREMIERE happens in Melbourne, on July 4th, at the Lido Cinema, 675 Glenferrie Road Hawthorn VIC 3122, for an 8:45pm screening. Tickets can be purchased at HERE.
