Nick Castle Returns to Play Michael Myers in New ‘Halloween’
While we don’t know a lot about the new “Halloween” film coming out next year, there’s certainly been one constant theme thus far and that’s a desire to return the film to its roots. There have been some good steps in that direction, but none have been more surprising than the one we’ve learned today.
Bloody-Disgusting has learned and confirmed with the man himself, Nick Castle, will be returning in the next “Halloween” to reprise his role as Michael Myers. Now, Castle just turned 70 years old this year so he’s no spring chicken. So does that mean Michael will actually retain his age and be old-man Myers for the new movie? Gonna be interesting to have an elderly slasher villain. Along with Castle, actor and stuntman James Jude Courtney will also portray Michael Myers.
So that means we have Jamie Lee Curtis, John Carpenter, and now the original Michael all working together again on film. That’s pretty damn cool. Now, tell us what the movie is going to be about, damn it, I can’t wait till the film drops on October 19, 2018.
What do you think? Excited to have Nick Castle return? Unphased? Let us know below.
