Official Trailer & Poster for The Confession of Fred Krueger
I absolutely love Wes Craven’s A Nightmare On Elm Street and the many sequels that followed. It was just something about the film and Fred Krueger himself that I just had to know more, it’s just a shame that we never got a prequel although there were shades of early Krueger in Freddy’s Dead, but that’s about it.
While we may not be getting a prequel from any studio anytime soon, it appears as if one of the greatest poster artist’s of our time, Nathan Thomas Milliner, has come to hear our calls. He is set to unleash his fan-film, The Confession of Fred Krueger, and thanks to Dread Central, we have your first look via a trailer below.
The film stars Thomas Dunbar, Kevin Roach, Todd Reynolds, Steve Vessell, Eric Huskisson, Kharley Redmon, and Corey Ballard.
Synopsis: The Springwood Police Department has just arrested a man named Fred Krueger, a janitor at the local power plant whom they believe to be the notorious Springwood Slasher. A filthy child murderer who has murdered 20 children over a 5 year long reign of terror on the nice suburban Ohio town. Krueger has been brought to the station to be interrogated by the department’s senior lieutenant. Sit down with one of the most charismatic and sinister man to ever walk the earth and hear him tell his story.

As this is a fan-film, the folks behind the project will be unleashing this one onto YouTube sometime this September, which I think is extremely awesome. Anyway, check out the trailer and the fantastic poster below.
